How will donations work?
In short: once there is ad revenue, we will give part of it to planting trees and to food for shelter animals. We'll donate in bulk, through organisations, and publish every donation on this page with its documents.
Where does the money come from?
Ekorama's revenue comes from ads: the ads on our Guides and Tools pages. We never ask you for money directly.
What does the Trees / Pet food choice mean?
The Trees / Pet food choice on the home page and in the account panel lets you say which cause you'd like the share of revenue to go to. Donations are made in bulk, at regular intervals, from part of the total ad revenue; they are not tied to individual ad views.
Who will receive the donations?
- Trees: through organisations in Türkiye that plant trees and issue donation receipts.
- Pet food: through municipal shelters or animal welfare associations that bring food to shelters and street animals.
We'll name the organisations here together with the first donation.
Transparency
We'll publish every donation on this page with its date, amount, organisation and, where possible, its receipt or certificate, so you can see that it really reached someone.
Current status: Ekorama has only just launched; as the ads are still being reviewed, no donation has been made yet. We'll share the first donation report here once there is ad revenue.
